Black Market Records Kenyan producer and musician Vic West, who released a song dubbed ‘Kuna Kuna’, featuring Fathermoh, Brandy Maina, Thee Exit Band and Savara, is dominating this year’s Pulse Music Video Awards.
Vic West, who is the brain behind ‘Kuna Kuna’, which is the most popular song in East Africa currently, has been nominated in the following categories:
1-Best Collaboration of the Year
2-Best Choreography of the Year
3-Viewers Choice of the Year
4-Best Video Producer of the Year
Vic West gets these nominations partly because of his chartbuster video ‘Kuna Kuna’, which has so far attracted over 4.5M YouTubes, and partly because of his great contribution to the Kenyan music industry.
The Pulse Music Video Awards, popularly known as PMVA, are aimed at acknowledging and appreciate artists, producers, videographers, choreographers and other stakeholders in Kenya and other parts of East Africa for their remarkable contribution to the music industry.
The organisers of the awards also harbour an objective of nurturing and promoting music talent by highlighting and rewarding those who are excelling over others in the industry.
