Gifted Black Market Records ace producer Vic West is currently the kingpin of Kenya’s music industry, after proving over time that he can consecutively drop hit after hit.

A music producer, singer and songwriter, Vic West turns whatever record he works on into instant gold.

Thanks to his music genius, Vic West has produced a number of hits for various Kenyan artists, among them being his latest ‘Kuna Kuna’, which is a blockbuster featuring Fathermoh, Brandy Maina, Thee Exit Band and Savaro that has so far garnered over 274K YouTube views within just days of its release.

Besides ‘Kuna Kuna’ however, Vic West is also the brain behind famous gengetone club banger like ‘Dai Di’ by Fathermoh Ft. Shekina Karen, ‘Sababisha’ by Rico Gang,’Manzi Wa Donholm’ Ft. Chan Chan and Blacowp, ‘Soko’ by Mbuzi Gang Ft. Harry Craze, Unspoken Salaton, to mention but a few.

A very down to earth person, Vic West is quietly but steadily building music careers for several Kenyan artists by producing a slew of successful songs for them and some of the artists who have benefited from his skills so far include; Brandy Maina, Mbuzi Gang, Teslah, Chan Chan, Fathermoh, the Rico Gang, among others.

His latest production is ‘Chunli’, a massive banger done by top Kenyan rappers Fathermoh, Khaligraph Jones, Smady and Boutross, which is performing excellently on YouTube, with over 156K YouTube views and still counting.

Because of his great skills when it comes to visual and audio production, Vic West has since ventured into videography and recently produced a movie dubbed ‘The Rise Of Mbuzi Gang’, which is a docu-movie about how the trio met up, built a legacy and still managed to stick together.

Vic West handled the project as an ally and one of the greatest producers who has ever been there for  the Mbuzi Gang, which is a prominent singing group East Africa .
