American rapper Maika Million, who is a new signing under Black Market Records, is slated to release his first track under the record label dubbed ‘Art Of War’.
Dropping a few days from now on YouTube and digital platforms, ‘Art Of War’ is a typical hustler’s anthem that will definitely rattle the Hip-hop scene for some time.
In this jam, Maika Million basically gives his fans tips on how to survive in the harsh streets, because every day is war and it’s only your art of war that will make you survive.
Real name Jymaika Hutson, Maika Million is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Rainier Ave Musik Records, born and raised in Seattle, Washington, South End Area.
Maika Million started making music at 14 years old, having been inspired by Jacka Of Mob Figaz, a Bay Area legend that has since passed on.
He was also motivated by other legends like Boosie and Webbie, plus Old-School icons such as SWV and Xscape.
Maika Million’s sound is a West Coast based sound similar to his influencer The Jacka.
He is very versatile, although he specializes in sample beats, making heartfelt music for those who lost loved ones.
Maika Million also mentions political problems and the poverty in his environment as some of the things that partly inspired him to do music.
He dropped his first solo tape titled ‘Look Into My Life’ in 2015 and since then he has never looked back.
He later dropped a number of albums among them (Is It Real Love) 4 Part Series, plus several singles like ‘I Hate You 2’, ‘I’m Seattle’, ‘Hell Tonight’, among others.
